Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY:  Performs a variety of tasks associated with material handling and control in support of manufacturing printed circuit boards and other products.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Performs a variety of tasks associated with material handling and control on support of manufacturing printed circuit boards and other products.  
• Receives, counts, and stocks raw material.  
• Ensures accurate counts, packaging, parts identification, and shelf life determination.  
• Receives, sorts, inspects, and validates returned material.  
• Completes detailed inventory transactions in appropriate systems, documenting receipt and delivery of materials.  
• Operates a variety of equipment including reel counters, weigh scales, pallet jacks.
• Delivers material to production and /or shipping areas.
• Perform duties including; picking kits, stock parts, teardown of SMT set-up, cycle counting of tape, reeling and filling material requests.  Pulls stored materials for orders and moves to production.
 
Requirements:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• A high school education or equivalent along with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Computer proficiency
• Competency in basic math
• Ability to maintain detailed and accurate records of material movement
• Training and experience with IPC-610 standards or equivalent.  
• Familiarity with ISO procedures.
• Component Identification experience.
ABILITIES REQUIRED:
• Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Good vision, hand coordination and manual dexterity are required.  
• Ability to read, write and otherwise communicate effectively in English.  
• Must be able to read and understand work routers, bill of materials, assembly drawings, component identification, and component polarity.  
• Basic PC Knowledge.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  
Duties of this position are performed in a manufacturing environment with frequent exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, operating machines, temperature extremes, hazardous substances, etc.  Duties of this position require occasional sustained concentration on focus on small areas, objects, computers, etc.  Duties of the position require continuous light physical effort and exertion including standing, sitting in a confined works space, climbing, using equipment, handling lightweight materials, etc.  Duties of the position require periodic heavy manual effort and considerable exertion including lifting objects over 20 pounds, requiring straining, pulling and lifting.
