Position Summary -
The Manufacturing Engineering Technician will be a member of the Operations team assembling, debugging, and testing Semiconductor Production Equipment. You will work with a diverse team of technicians, manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to ensure our systems meet all required quality standards.
• Provide assembly, test and system integration for Semiconductor Production Equipment
• Troubleshoot and solve complex assembly and test issues
• Perform mechanical, electrical, and fluid flow tests to verify system performance
• Must be able to clearly communicate system issues with Engineering and Software to drive real time corrective actions
•  Ensure company products are of the highest quality by utilizing established mechanical and electrical assembly and test procedures
• Responsible for ensuring systems meet published performance specifications
• Update assembly and test procedures
• Interface with Engineering on recommended designs for tooling, fixturing, and test equipment
• Requires Associates Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical school or job experience, or BSEET
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics and BOMs
• A minimum of 5 years of experience working with complex electro-mechanical equipment including pneumatic actuators, motors, switches, amplifiers, and robotics
• A minimum of 5 years of related work experience in a production assembly and test environment
• Work with a variety of different types of hardware (machined parts, fabricated parts, weldments, etc.)
• Excellent organizational, communication, problem solving and people skills
• Ability to use appropriate hand or power tools
• Ability to work schedules to support a manufacturing environment, including the possibility of weekend shifts

• Familiarity with Excel and Word
Physical Requirements:
Job duties are often performed in confined areas in a clean room environment, in awkward positions and/or in high places. Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity and ability to lift/carry objects up to 35 pounds are required. May require bending/stooping/crawling/climbing. May require the use of Personal Protection equipment and proper industry safety procedures when working with one or more dangerous element or conditions such as electric currents or high voltage, moving mechanical parts, etc.
