Job Description:
Engineer 1-
• To coordinate the documentation and change control function for the Northridge Quality Assurance function. Manage the flow of Manufacturing Orders, Controlled Forms, and SOP’s in a timely manner, including issuance, revisions, and deletions. Ensure compliance with appropriate GMP/SOP’s.

• Manage the flow of SOP’s in a timely manner, including issuance, revisions, and deletions.
• Ensure compliance with appropriate GMP/SOP’s.
• Communicate with plant personnel to identify and resolve document discrepancies and implement changes to documentation.
• Prepares document packages and initiates the approval cycle, including logging, routing for approvals, publishing for distribution through site electronic change control system. Maintains extensive manual and electronic file knowledge to retrieve and store documents.
• Develops and implements an education plan to continually advance his/her technical knowledge.
• Follow and promote current corporate business conduct, safety, health, and environmental policies and practices.
• If contact with others outside is required, (including suppliers, vendors, contractors, consultants, and customers) that involve explaining and discussing difficult information, establishing rapport, exercising patience, gaining understanding, and maintaining confidentiality. Communicate these discussions to appropriate people in timely manner.
• Provide site wide training in documentation and Change Management processes and systems as required.
• Support external customer and regulatory audits as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
 
Requirements:
• High school/G.E.D. level of education or training is normally required to apply knowledge of procedures and methods.
• In addition, between 1 and 2 years of related job experience are generally required. At an intermediate level of proficiency, the employee works independently on assignments of standard difficulty.
• The employee primarily uses coordinating skills to coordinate audits, review and edit standards from various areas, prepare packages, etc. Also required are communication, manual, and software/word processing skills.
• Requires knowledge of GMP’s
• Good Interpersonal skills
