Job Description:
Perform Receiving Inspection (RI) and In-Process Inspection (IP) of mechanical, electronic assemblies, and production integration per detailed work instructions.
• Maintain documentation required to demonstrate conformity to requirements are met.
• Initiate and maintain As-Built records and serialized inspection (SI) throughout production.
• Initiate Nonconformity records (NC) in TipQa for all inspection and test failures.
• Coordinate QA activities with government representatives for product acceptance
• Ability to work well with others across all functional organizations
Minimum Qualifications:
• Inspection experience in electronic assemblies J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610
• Inspection experience in requirements and acceptance for cable and wire harness assemblies IPC-A-620
• Inspection experience in receiving, In-Process, final inspection of mechanical, electronic assemblies, and production integration per detail work instructions.
• Ability to work well with others across all functional organization.
• Ability to Maintain documentation required to demonstrate conformity to requirements are met.
• Experience in aerospace manufacturing environmental
• Secret Security Clearance is required. Last date of use must be within the last 2 years. Security clearance is a condition of employment and must be transferred and active within the first 90 days of employment.
• Must have High School diploma or GED.
• Must have working knowledge of IPC J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 for Electrical Assemblies.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions, procedures and requirements.
• Ability to comprehend requirements and articulate in writing specific deficiencies observed.
• Comfortable working in various, manufacturing, and integration environments.
Preferred Qualification:
• Experience with TipQa preferred
• Current J-STD-001, IPC-A-610 and IPC-A-620 certificates
• Ability to work in team environment.
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail work ethic with a task completion mindset
• Team player, hands-on type individual, objective, willing to offer solutions when able and open and adaptable to different individuals thought processes
