JOB DESCRIPTION
 
• Performs highly complex tasks and has in-depth knowledge for specific production processes required for the manufacture, assembly, solder, repair of modification of avionics products.
• Is accountable for the manufacturing and testing of new and/or prototype products.  
• Duties involve the set-up and operation of assembly process, hand soldering, machine soldering, test, and troubleshooting of the equipment and processes.
• Ensure avionics products are built and perform to their specifications, will administer functional and environmental tests, and troubleshoot from a system level down to component level.   
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Associates Degree in an electronic technology discipline or 2 years electronics military training or High School education with equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience with Avionic Electronics experience in assembly, soldering, testing and troubleshooting of highly electronic products.
• Must be proficient in reading and writing English.
• Will be required to pass J-STD & IPC-A-610 certification.
• Possesses knowledge of product quality, soldering specifications and SMT processing systems.
• Ability to set up, operate, and maintain assembly and hand soldering of equipment and tools.
• Knowledge and understanding of board assembly process and product process flow.
• Ability to manufacture / test products with best methods or procedures in situations not covered by standard processes, procedures and methods.
• Has ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of internal and external customers.
• Knowledge of computer applications and the ability to accurately perform tasks in the applications appropriate to the area e.g.: Word, Excel and Documentation control systems.
• Ability to identify problems in the assembly, soldering, test processes with the ability to further address such problems.  
• Ability to work under minimum supervision by being motivated and a self-starter.  
• Ability to manufacture / test products with best methods or procedures in situations not covered by standard processes, procedures and methods.
