Primary Objective:
Provide skilled labor necessary to build standard electronic/mechanical products and systems utilizing engineering & manufacturing documentation, processes and procedures.
Major Areas of Accountability:
• Manufacture standard electronic/mechanical products utilizing engineering prints, process sheets and standard department procedures.  Meet or exceed company and department standards for quality of work, quantity of work and lead time.                
• Modify existing in house and vendor products as required.
• Maintain manufacturing records regarding quality, compliance and conformance to specifications.
• Recommends changes and improvements to processes, procedures and to engineering documentation.
• Maintains effective communication with supervisor, peers and interdependent departments.
o Keep supervisor and team members informed of progress, problems and
   changes in products and processes
o Effectively communicate design and process improvement ideas
o Communicate concerns about personal development, scheduling, product
   quality and morale
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.                                                                                       
• Manage time to maximize productivity and meet delivery requirements, maintaining high quality standards.  Manage concurrent projects and responsibilities to achieve all requirements and meet deadlines.
• High School or GED.
• One (1) year of relevant assembly experience or applicable on the job training to discipline.
• Knowledge of basic electronic/mechanical assembly principles.
• Possesses basic skills in the use of tools and methods to modify all electronic/mechanical in house and vendor products.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee is required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and stand for approximately 80% of the time.  The employee must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.
