Job Description:
Our customer is looking for highly motivated individual to work on product and process development activities at their facilities. Position will work with a team across their sites to develop, prototype, test, and commercialize new products and technologies. Develops and maintains test systems for exploratory product development efforts.
• Executes evaluation testing, summarizes data, and communicates results and next steps to the broader team.
• Applies technical knowledge to innovate, design, and develop processes, procedures, tooling and/or automation.
• Assesses process capabilities, prioritizes process improvement opportunities, and innovates and implements process improvements on multiple moderately complex processes.
• Executes the functional deliverables associated with the Product Development Process, Project Management, and Quality Systems.
• Prepares and presents technical data and recommendations at technical reviews.
• Writes validation protocols and reports applicable to new processes.
• Ensures proper documentation is completed to meet quality systems requirements. (e.g., bill of materials, traceability documents, risk assessments, etc.)
• Oversees project development builds using special work requests.
 
Requirements:
• 2 Years with BS in Electrical Engineering (or related field) OR 0 - 2 Years with MS in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
• Demonstrated use of statistical tools. Examples include design of experiments, evaluating/implementing process controls, statistical analysis, etc.
• Demonstrated cross functional teamwork in technically demanding environment.
• Broad understanding of electrical engineering principles
Preferred Qualifications:
• C#, LabVIEW, and/or C/C++ programming experience
• Highly motivated individual that can independently drive deliverables to completion through collaboration among team members.
• Ability to develop and drive innovative solutions into processes and products.
• Understanding of design for manufacturability (DFM), medical device design control / quality systems, and the product development process.
• Medical Device experience
• Experience with coil winding processes
• Experience with robotics controls; particularly 6-axis robots
• Process Development – Equipment validations, process characterization, and test method validation experience
• Manufacturing experience; equipment and fixturing design
