Job Description:
Lead electrical design group in developing next generation electrical solutions of concrete pumping equipment.
• Create and update required documentation pertaining to electrical schematics and harness drawings.
• Work Closely with Electrical Designers to get documentation created and up to date using Solid Edge Harnessing and Auto-CAD Electrical.
Essential Job Functions:
• Develop electrical design solutions for 12/24V control systems in mobile/over the road construction equipment.
• Lead SAI on site electrical team in developing solutions for an ever-changing product base. · Develop Electrical best practices guidelines. ·
• Develop and update electrical assembly, harness and schematic designs and drawings.  
• Setup part numbers, create and update Bill of Materials (BOMs) and other SAP data entry.
• Create and release Engineering Change Orders for BOMs and assembly, harness and schematic drawings.
• Document current assemblies by dis-assembling and recording measurements and other pertinent information.  
• Provide hands on support with prototypes and production, as needed.
Candidate Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering degree from an accredited university.
• Minimum five years with mobile equipment low voltage systems (12/24 volt).
• Working knowledge of high voltage applications.
• Occasional travel may be required (<10% of time)
• Beneficial to have Class B driver’s license, but not required.
• Ability to read and create electrical schematics and electrical harness drawings.  
• Knowledge of “best practices” concerning electrical harness and schematic design.  
• Skilled in AutoCAD Electrical 2015 software and 3D CAD modelling, SolidEdge preferred.  
• Strong ability to multi-task, manage, prioritize, and deliver results on several projects at the same time.
• Understanding of electro-mechanical systems and basic hands-on engineering experience.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment including interaction with multiple departments.
• Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office products, SAP and a willingness to learn additional software as required.
• Possess a high degree of interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
