Job Description:
Our customer is looking for a Documentation Controls Specialist working with MS Access. Will also be working with Word, Outlook and Excel.   Will work on Preclinical Records Retention Process Refinements Project is to align the Preclinical records retention with the site processes for consistent control and tracking. There is approximately 1000 cubic feet of paper records currently stored that will need to be returned and processed via appropriate review, documentation and packaging following the site processes. The individual would be trained on the entire process from receiving the materials back, review and organization of the records by applicable study identification numbers, completion of transmittal forms, documentation in the tracking database and helping with the processing/bar coding shipments. o Retrieving, Reviewing and tracking physical archiving records from the Preclinical Laboratory including documents, slides, tissue blocks, or other applicable items.
• Determine Record Retention Requirements per BSC Procedures
• Organizing, Labeling, Boxing and/or Storing the records per BSC Procedures
• Utilizing Microsoft Access Database to record documentation details and storage locations
• Completing documentation for long-term storage utilizing BSC Systems such as DOCs
• Tracking project progress utilizing Microsoft Excel or Project
4 year Degree is very must preferred.  Must have an Expert with MS Access. Will also be working with Word, Outlook and Excel.  Experience with Microsoft Project
Experience in a Preclinical Facility in a support role. Any medical device experience is very helpful.
