Job Description:
• Maintain study documentation by:
o Entering new and updating existing adverse events into the study specific database
o Ensuring a clear communication process with other parties involved in the safety workflow
o Consulting with the appropriate personnel to ensure tasks are completed within the prescribed regulatory timelines
o Maintaining all study documents and storing in a compliant location
• Provide support for the safety specialist/team by:
o Actively participating in study specific meetings
• Identify and implement process improvements
• Coordinate Clinical Events Committee Meetings
• Provide metrics information, compiling information from various sources
• Interact well with peers, clinical team, and outside vendors on a frequent basis
• Organized, efficient, and process oriented
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong communication Strong Communication skills (written & verbal)
• Self-motivated
• Strong work ethic
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Results and solution oriented
• Bachelor’s Degree or High School Diploma with commensurate experience
• Entry Level
Must Haves:
• Experienced in databases and Office suite, experience with medical terminology or work in a regulated industry, good written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Clinical experience
• Project management and document management experience
• Bachelor in science or health care area preferred
• General knowledge of industry practices, techniques and standards
• Records management experience
• Proficient knowledge of medical terminology
