JOB DESCRIPTION
Configuration and Data Management (CDM) group analyst with activities that include supporting a variety of programs and projects across Engineering/Operations Organization. This position will be part of the Engineering Team in the control, release, record and transfer (as necessary) a wide variety of documents and drawings utilizing various applications like Microsoft SharePoint and the Siemens Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool of Teamcenter Unified Architecture (TcUA).
Will be required to process, release and submit documents. Ensure that both domestic and international technical data submittals meets contractual program and export/import control requirements. Will be required to interface and coordinate with program managers, customers, suppliers, planners, design team members, and other various departments of the company. Maintain electronic and hard copies of data as required. Prepare data for archival and maintain archive records for retrieval as required. In addition, the candidate will ensure CM/DM practices are met to help ensure company work instructions and processes are followed. At times tasks will require additional work hours to be performed as overtime to support the various milestones and key delivery dates.
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• A minimum of 3-5 years of work experience handling technical and/or contractual documentation performing as a Configuration Management (CM)/Data Management (DM) Analyst.
• Understanding and the proper application of the CM Standard of ANSI/EIA-649, as well as the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Standards – Specifically ASME Y14.5-1994 (or later).
• Able to package and transfer customer deliverables as CDRLs and SDRLs, as well as program data per the Program Management Plan (PMP).
• Able to support a variety of programs and able to multitask efficiently for the major milestone reviews on programs.
• Able to support various programs and projects with extended work hours that may include weekdays and weekends.
• Able to communicate clearly – both verbally and in writing effectively to management and cross functional team members.
• Security regulations require that the individual must be a U.S. Citizen and must have the ability to obtain a DOD security clearance to a level of Secret.
• Knowledge of MIL-STD-31000 and the proper application for drawing generation and Technical Data Package (TDP) deliveries.
• Experience with DOD projects as they relate to product design, Technical Data Package (TDP) releases, setting and capturing baselines (Functional, Allocated, and Product), CM/DM audits, and CM/DM control.
• Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools, such as Siemens Teamcenter Unified Architecture (TcUA) and Microsoft SharePoint.
• Familiar with program contract requirements application and verification.
• Willing to learn in the engineering and operations domain.
• Knowledge of the Deltek Cost Point 7.1 for part and component entry and revision control for manufacturing and builds at the various sites is a plus.
• Degree is preferred.
• Configuration Management (CM) Certification is highly desirable.
