Job Description:
The Senior Business Analyst works closely with a variety of stakeholders from multiple organizations within the company to identify, analyze and document Business requirements and reporting requirements throughout the project life cycle. The BA requires strong communication skills including the ability to facilitate Business and technical requirement meetings and reviews, keep stakeholders focused on a common goal by working closely with various departments and management. The BA must deeply understand the business processes, data and issues to help business users design reports that answer business questions and effectively streamline process execution and eliminate manual work.
• Work as part of a project team to meet or exceed customer expectations
• Trains and coaches project teams on financial processes.
• Train and coach business users to assume the support and future design of Lumira & SAP reports
• Supports composition and presentation of executive updates and reports.
• Leads reconciliation and variance reporting.
• Follow and demonstrate an understanding of adopted processes/methodologies
• Analyze and gather business requirements from internal/external customers for assigned projects.
• Document detailed business requirements, create functional specifications, and produce additional documentation required by approved methodology.
• Communicate with internal/external customers regarding requirements, approval on mock-ups, etc.
• Identify changes in scope as they occur and notify appropriate team members.
• Demonstrate an understanding of impact analysis concepts.
• Provide estimate of hours needed to complete assigned tasks/project, with assistance as needed
• Provide input to schedules and follow accordingly to meet project deadlines
• Ensure deliverables are produced according to customer specifications.
• Identify solutions to solve problems, improve processes, and meet customer requests.
Candidate Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree OR Equivalent in MIS, Computer Science, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of Business Analysis experience
• Familiarity with requirements gathering tools/technique
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to drive overloaded business users to pa
• Ability to work successfully both independently and in teams
• Proven success documenting Business needs and requirements with a diverse group of stakeholders
• Ability to collect, manage and quantify requirement change requests.
• Experience with various development methodologies is highly desired.
• Proven organizational skills with the ability to develop a detailed work plan to ensure project success.
• Demonstrated ability to organize and facilitate large cross functional meetings.
• Ability to document project issues, risks, assumptions and requirements.
• Demonstrated problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve issues. - Ability to analyze and develop business scenarios and use cases.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities.
• Working knowledge of SharePoint preferred
