Job Summary:
Perform duties to support buyers/Sr Buyers in purchasing, placing orders, expediting and related administration of material procurement.  This position is subject to well defined policies and procedures, specification of parts, quantities, delivery variables, price and source, and to daily review of work.  Procedures defining MRP-system, access security and capabilities are detailed and specific.
Scope of Responsibility:
• Responsible for own work only, referring only unusual matters to Buyers and Sr Buyers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Order pre-negotiated or off-the-shelf commodities.
• Expedite, track and change orders if necessary that are placed.
• Perform Purchasing functions for pre-negotiated product according to the MRP System, enter expedite answers and update as needed for past due data from all suppliers.
• Execute search strategies per the buyers to locate scarce allocated parts.
• Perform order entry and other administrative functions.
• Organize and maintain Purchasing file system.
• Order office supplies for both TUSA locations, reconciling the automatic ordering and placing orders on the internet to satisfy special requests.  This also includes creating and ordering business cards for current and new employees.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
 
Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
Requires a year of specialized training beyond high school with up to two years related work experience.  Must have good written and verbal communication skills. **Looking for someone with a good order entry and attention to details skill set/background.  They also should be good at multitasking and be flexible in nature as they will be supporting different Buyers throughout the week depending on whose need is greatest.  This job can be full time or part-time. PT hours can be flexible in nature throughout the week but we would like someone to be available to work every day to support our current Buyers.  So, it would be 4 hours/day but we’re flexible on which hours those are depending on their needs. (i.e. could be 9am-1pm; 10am-2pm, 11pm-3pm, etc.)
