Job Description:
The Security Clerk is responsible for processing a variety of transactions related to security activities such as; processing visit authorizations, verification of citizenship documentation, and processing badge requests.  
Job Description:
• Basic clerical duties as required; filing, faxing, etc.
• Verify new hire citizenship documentation and process employee badge requests
• Process visitor badge requests and coordinate with the badge officer
• Creating and maintaining personnel files
• Processing outgoing visit authorizations and coordinate incoming visits with visitor control
• Issue foreign travel briefings and ensuring personnel are debriefed upon their return
• Escorting personnel into secure areas
• Runs to the post office (candidate will need to have their own transportation and will be reimbursed for mileage)
• Reviewing background/credit reports and when applicable request any additional supporting documentation
• Maintain records in excel workbooks
• Assist with processing personnel security clearances; reviewing security questionnaires for inconsistencies/omissions, creating security clearance files, finger printing, etc.
• Assist Security Management when needed to complete projects
• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Clearance: Must have immediate eligibility for a DoD Secret Clearance
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of clerical/customer service experience
• Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills (written and verbal). Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Other: Able to multi-task. Ability to professionally work with confidential employee data
