Job Description:
Responsible for the strategic management of the largest and/or most complex key cyber security initiatives by identifying security risk management and compliance solutions driven by business needs for significant business critical applications, infrastructure and services. Protect the company against risks of data loss and vulnerability management as well as drive initiatives to ensure compliance with requirements from agencies such as FERC, NERC, and Department of Homeland Security (such as CIP, HIPAA, SOX, PCI). Manage security risks and threats by collaborating with other business units, utilities, governmental agencies and security related communities to share information. Apply expert level business and technical acumen while defining security and compliance solutions that deliver best practices for building and monitoring controls for information protection and threat management.
** Will consider candidates located in Denver, CO or Minneapolis, MN.
• Minimum 5 years’ work experience designing and/or engineering OT security solutions security
• Work experience in the following security disciplines: security engineering, security solution delivery, operations, security standards development, security engineering and/or security risk analysis
• Understanding of cyber security disciplines such as vulnerability management, information risk management, encryption, logging/monitoring, networking architecture and security operations.
• Understanding of and ability to apply cyber security frameworks such as NIST 800-53, 800-82, Cyber Security Framework (CSF), NISTR 7628, ISA 62443 and/or OT equivalent.
• Understand, negotiate and communicate complex security related requirements in a timely, concise and objective manner.
• Utility experience preferred
• Cyber Security, Computer Science, Business and Information Technology or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience with public key infrastructure systems and processes a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills 6. Understanding of core business processes/industry trends with ability to interpret/apply ongoing changes
