Job Description:
We are looking for a MIG Welder. The MIG Welder will read drawings and blueprints to weld components. The welder will utilize grinders, torch, as well as measuring equipment.
Job duties:
• Perform MIG and TIG welding based on product needs
• Read and interpret project plans, blueprints and other written instructions and diagrams to perform necessary task
• De-bur and grind metal as necessary to achieve proper surface texture
• Conserve resources wherever possible to ensure budgetary integrity and client satisfaction
• Knowledge of welding safety procedures and willingness to use PPE’s provided
• Must have 0-1 years of Welding experience or equivalent education or certifications
• Ability to work independently and complete duties and projects with little direct supervision.
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to produce high quality products in a timely manner
• Proficient in the use of tools such as tape measure, calipers,
• Other duties as assigned by the supervisor
• Welding certification a plus
• Prior work experience as a MIG welder helpful
