Industrial Maintenance Technician (Evening Shift)
• Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance tasks and answering trouble calls.
• Troubleshoot problems with the use of schematics and wiring diagrams on motor and heater circuits ranging from low voltage to 480v three phase.
• Remove and replace defective parts from equipment with the use of hoists, cranes, hand tools and power tools.
• Communicate effectively with the shift supervisor to prioritize repairs.
• Make entries to the maintenance log explaining problems encountered, repairs made, and parts used or needed.
• Keep company tools put away and in working order.
• Fabricate repair parts, machine guarding, mezzanines, etc. Using shop equipment. (welders, plasma cutter, torch, grinder, etc.)
• High School diploma is preferred with 1 year of relevant work experience
• Electrical experience is necessary
• Evening Shift (rotating schedule)
