Job Description:
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:  
• Provide support to the Sr. Director of Global Supply Chain including travel arrangements, schedule, expense reports, meetings, etc.
• Event logistics coordination including contracting for hotel space, contracting transportation, reserving and setting-up facilities, determining security requirements and making necessary additional plans, contracting with restaurant(s), ordering catering, ensuring necessary audio visual/technology needs are set-up, and manage materials/inventory required (occasional large event coordination).
• Provide support and coordination for Lean Sigma DMAIC Problem Solving, training courses, including but not limited to scheduling of resources and training calendar, preparation and maintenance of training materials, ordering catering and completing and maintaining training documentation.
• Use problem solving techniques to improve departmental performance around quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Perform various administrative duties including Internet/Intranet research, setting up new hires, ordering supplies and equipment, filing, documenting meeting minutes, photocopying documents and distributing mail.
• Adhere to deadlines and provide quality deliverables.
• Coordinate meetings to include WebEx, conference calls, travel, location, catering, etc.
• Create and maintain website structure with updated information.
• Coordinate and publish the quarterly department newsletter.
• Administer systems and manage data by reporting data, managing data entry, utilizing data to draw conclusions and make recommendations (i.e. SABA for managing training records).
• Budget management includes tracking expenses, paying invoices, and implementing cost saving methods.
• Manage communications including drafting and disseminating written communication to program and meeting participants, managers, presenters, and leaders.
• Maintain a consistent visible office presence. This is not a remote position.
 
Requirements:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION REQUIRED: High School diploma or GED
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE: 6+ years of administrative experience and training.
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
• Proficiency at Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook).
DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree
• Organized, efficient, process oriented
• Demonstrated track record of delivering results as a self-starter
• Demonstrated ability to support multiple staff simultaneously, prioritizing deliverables
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies

• Works well under pressure in a dynamic environment
• Tactful; exercises independent judgment and discretion, professional presentation
• Interpersonal/communication skills
• Team player
• Strong work ethic
• Meeting planning experience
• Expertise in SharePoint/Sitebuilder
• Ability to travel to support team meetings
